Tired Tired Tired

Thought I’d have so much energy when I woke up, only to find myself going back to sleepyland about an hour after my first cup of coffee. Still have that horrible “anti-cold”reaction, as well as the neuropathy. Thank God the nausea is not as bad, and no fever. If I could, however, I would just sleep all day (don’t think THAT is going to happen, but it’s a nice thought)....Everyone have a wonderful day (sun’s out—that in itself makes me feel better right away!)

Ron would always tell everyone to “Have a Sunny Day”, even if the Sun was not Shining. I always tried to give Ron that “Sunshine” in his life. Find ways to put a “Smile” on your face and that will give you “Sunshine” even on those Cloudy Winter Days!
Have a Sunny Day Linda and May all Your Dreams Come True(Ron would always say that too)....Really do Miss My Special Guardian Angel Soulmate, but I know Ron is watching over me as I find My Life again.
Love, Hugs, Smiles and Blessings,
Sara

Well, you are taking care of business down here for him, because I have a big smile on my face now! HUGE hugs to you, and prayers for all of us who miss those who have gone before us…

Don’t push yourself, listen to your body. If you are tired, take a nap, nothing wrong with that!

Thanks Mersea, I think I just may do that. Hugs,

I spent entire days in bed during chemo-the fatigue is one of the hardest parts! I did read recently about Adderall (an ADHD drug) being used short-term to address fatigue. I would have definitely asked for that if I’d known about it at the time. Hang in there! Ann

Ann, might have to check that out! At the moment, I cannot work (as my physicians tell me) and I’m waiting on social security. Doing anything (like cleaning the kitchen thoroughly) wears me down, so I guess I need to listen to my body and my friends…...

It must be a tired day! I am so exhausted it is taking all I can to push through this day! Now I am heading to the dentist. Maybe I will fall asleep in the chair and it will go by faster!

I can remember falling asleep in the chemo chair for a couple of hours while they were putting a couple of other meds in me (before I went home with the bag—and I’m not talking about my hubby! :) ) The time did go by fast, so maybe I could just sack out “for a few”...and go from there. The fatigue has got to be by far the most aggravating symptom (because I know I will have it, and badly!) I have the other symptoms but not to the extent of the tiredness. On a positive note, 38 degrees and sunny in Southern Minnesota! :)

I can understand tired. One year post chemo and I still find myself tired often. But, kickin’ it’s ass! So do the same girl!

:) Working on it for you! :)

What is the anti-cold reaction?

I hope you’re feeling better today, Linda. If you’re sleepy, just sleep right now.

When I drink anything cold, it feels like I’m swallowing glass…and I can feel the cold all the way up my ears if I’m drinking or eating anything cold….horrible
